Vereda is a fashion brand and tanner of American alligator leather. Florida born founder, Evan OHara, started the company in 2015 following his career with major American labels Vera Wang and J. Mendel. The wild American alligator skins are harvested in Florida, often by O'Hara personally, while design and manufacturing headquarters are based in New York City. Vereda is one of the only remaining independent alligator skin operations to work vertically, with all competitors being owned by large luxury groups. Vereda is proud to produce a high end line of leathers and garments entirely in the United States.
