Who is behind Vereda ?

Vereda's journey began in 2017, inspired by the coastal landscapes that shaped founder Evan O’Hara's upbringing in Florida. Evan's passion for design led him to New York, where he honed his craft while working alongside renowned luxury houses. This firsthand experience laid the foundation for Vereda, a reflection of Evan's unique perspective and dedication to exceptional craftsmanship.

“I draw inspiration from the dichotomy of my fast paced life in New York City and the timeless charm of Old Florida.”

The origins

Vereda meticulously harvests wild American alligator skins from Florida, often by O'Hara personally, infusing each piece with a sense of origin. Based in New York City, we're one of the few independent alligator skin operations to work vertically, ensuring top quality and ethical production. Proudly crafting our luxury line entirely in the USA, we embody the spirit of American craftsmanship and pride.

Sustainable Practice

Vereda is deeply committed to conservation and sustainability. Our creations are meticulously crafted from sustainably and humanely harvested wild American Alligator skins sourced from Florida.

With a focus on utilizing the animal for both its meat and hide, we ensure ethical procurement practices. The annual alligator harvest in Florida is a testament to our commitment to managing the population sustainably.

Renowned for its luxurious quality, Wild American Alligator is a highly sought-after material. Vereda's mission is to craft exquisite skins in harmony with the environment, embodying timeless elegance while upholding ethical standards
